Conradin Rasi took up his current position as Chargé d'affaires at the Embassy of Switzerland in Thailand in August 2021.

Before his current position, Conradin headed the Forced Displacement and Migration Unit in the Peace and Human Rights Division of the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs in (2017-2021).

From 2013-2017 he served as Deputy Head of the Economic Unit of the Swiss Embassy in the UK where he also represented Switzerland in multilateral commodity organizations.

From 2009-2013 he was Diplomatic Advisor to the Director of the Swiss Federal Office of Energy, following a posting as a diplomat in Colombo.

Preceding his diplomatic career, Conradin worked for the Swiss State Secretariat for Migration (2002-2005) and as a Management Consultant in the utility sector (2006-2008).

He studied Political Science at the University of Lausanne and holds a Master Degree in European Business from the ESCP Europe Business School.
