Information for Members - Increase of Membership Fee

Dear Members,

On behalf of the Board of Directors, I would like to take the opportunity to thank all members who attended our Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the Mövenpick BDMS Resort on March 25 2021. It was an engaged meeting with lively discussions and I am pleased to announce that all items on the agenda, which were up for vote, were approved by the members.

As per suggestion by a number of our attending members, the increase in Membership Fee was decisively approved with these resulting fee levels for 2021:

·        Corporate Members  15,000 THB

·        Individual Members     7,500 THB

·        Associate Members     5,000 THB

The following changes in By-Laws were also approved:

·        The AGM election can also be conducted with electronic aids

·        Increase the number of Vice Presidents

·        The newly elected Board of Directors shall elect among themselves the President, Vice Presidents, Treasurer and other positions.

The approved increase in Membership Fee and changes in By Laws, should enable us to have a balanced budget for 2021 and set a solid financial foundation for a sustainable future of the Chamber. It will also increase the effectiveness in managing the daily affairs of the Chamber. In Mid-April, you should receive your membership invoice for 2021 and please do not forget to send us a copy of your payment slip.

Since some of the proposals are a direct result of the active participation of our membership base at the AGM, I encourage you to be engaged further with our Chamber and support our forthcoming initiatives.
